Capital One's development programs set you up for success as you cycle through two positions with two different teams as a full-time associate. During the Cyber Security Development Program, you’ll explore different security roles while working at the forefront of cloud-first security.

Associates in our Cyber Security Development Program (CSDP) are problem-solvers with a strong blend of technical depth and big-picture thinking. They understand that securing a financial system means understanding the system itself: its architecture, its potential vulnerabilities and the customers depending on it.

And through it all, they start building what’s next, both in tech and in their own career.

Make a real impact through cloud-first security

In the CSDP, you’ll work across infrastructure, network, platform and software security in the cloud, helping protect the systems that process card applications, checks and loan payments every day.

The work looks different depending on where you land. Some associates join an Offensive Security team, using penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities or simulate real-world attack scenarios. Others work in Cyber Threat Intelligence, tracking active threat actors and building databases to help defend the enterprise. Or some coordinate with external security researchers to manage newly discovered vulnerabilities, working directly with the engineering teams responsible for fixing them.

Cyber security runs through everything Capital One builds. So wherever you are in the program, you’re contributing to something that matters.
