Manager- Process Manager (Hybrid)

Servicing Back Office is seeking a highly-motivated associate to join our team as a Manager (Process Management). This person will join the Horizontal team in Servicing Back Office, serving the Operational teams that execute a variety of manual back office processes in US Card Servicing. On any given day, you will:

  • Develop business acumen across a broad range of operational processes in order to serve as the voice of the business in project and intent spaces  

  • Set strategic direction by partnering with Line of Business leaders to ensure Operations is represented in the ideation, design and execution of intent and operational readiness 

  • Relentlessly prioritize to ensure you and our broader team are focused on the work that drives the greatest value for our business 

  • Work autonomously to deliver projects or project increments, ensuring timely delivery of results that align with business priorities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teammates and partners on broad, transformational initiatives 

  • Communicate with and engage teammates, stakeholders, and senior leaders to inform, influence, and empower 

  • Solve problems creatively by consulting with business partners, escalating road blocks, conducting independent research, and making recommendations 

  • Break large bodies of work down into tactical requirements and implementation plans 

Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 3 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management, Risk Management, or Operations Management

  • At least 1 year of experience in Google suite or Microsoft Office

  • At least 3 years of experience directing process transformations or projects  

  • At least 3 years of experience in Strategic planning 

  • At least 3 years of Process OR Project Management experience in an operations environment, OR at least 3 years of Program Management experience in an operations environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Process certifications, such as BPM, Lean, or Six Sigma 

  • Agile experience and/or Agile training

  • Process or Project Management certification such as Scaled Agile, Lean, or Project Management Professional  

  • At least 5 years of experience leading large scale process transformations or projects 

  • At least 5 years of experience in People Management 

  • At least 3 years of experience working with external partners or supplier management

  • At least 3 years of experience designing customer and associates' experiences in an omni-channel environment

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $126,700 - $144,600 for Manager, Process Management


Richmond, VA: $115,200 - $131,500 for Manager, Process Management










Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
