Sr. Business Analyst, Airport Lounges

This is your opportunity to join the Airport Lounge team at Capital One!

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the financial and analytics agenda for the Capital One Lounges.

To be successful in the role, you will need to be a well-rounded 'business athlete’ — a creative and analytical problem solver who feels just as comfortable crafting cohesive storylines for white space problems as you do diving into complex P&Ls to extract key financial insights. The ideal candidate is resourceful, motivated, and self-sufficient, with demonstrated success in spearheading cross-functional projects that drive the growth and success of a business.

Responsibilities

• Lead our financial forecasting workstream for lounges, including supporting the bi-annual outlook updates reported out to senior leadership and finance, maintaining and evolving our financial infrastructure to enable more cross-functional utility and appropriate leadership transparency, and developing new forecasts for new lounges

• Conduct in-depth analysis on partner-provided P&Ls for our lounges to understand monthly financial trends

• Analyze customer volume and waitlist trends in our lounges

• Partner with the guest experience team to develop the strategic agenda for cost efficiency in our lounges

• Partner with the product team to refine and enhance the lounge data ecosystem for analyst usability

• You thrive and help set the pace in a company where the people around you have an exceptionally high level of commitment; you wouldn’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves and lead an occasional late-night work session to help your teams succeed

• You take personal responsibility for the productivity and results of any team you are a part of

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)

• At least 1 year of experience in analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering

• 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building

• 1+ years of experience in market research

• 1+ years of experience in SQL querying

• 2+ years of experience in business analysis

• 1+ years of experience in consulting

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $109,000 - $124,400 for Sr. Business Analyst

New York, NY: $118,900 - $135,700 for Sr. Business Analyst

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
