About the Team
In this role, as a Product Manager in the Intelligent Assistance team in Core Platforms (CP) in Enterprise Consumer Product (ECP), you will lead the exploration and delivery of compelling experiences to enable tens of millions of our customers to assist themselves in their financial journeys. You will closely partner with our lines of businesses, other enterprise teams, our Design and Technology teams to prioritize opportunities that delight our customers, deliver value to our businesses and keep Capital One safe and compliant. You will work on delivering high impact products for the company that transform our customer experience, including products like live agent chat, agentic AI based chat, and wayfinding.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead exploration and launch of self-service help and chat experiences for Capital One and Discover customers ensuring desirability, viability, and feasibility
Leverage AI and agentic AI to create seamless, proactive, and personalized experiences. This involves using intelligent wayfinding and chatbots, with live human agents available for exceptional cases, thereby reducing the need for phone support.
Partner with Capital One’s Line of Businesses and the generative AI platform teams to drive improvements to our various assistance capabilities on CapitalOne.com, Capital One app, Help Hub, Help Center, and the Capital One chatbot Eno.
Collaborate with product, tech, data science, design, business/data analysis, research, strategy teams to articulate a vision, build a roadmap, champion support, experiment and launch products and features
Define a technical roadmap aligned with human-centered design and business KPIs, demonstrating frequent wins.
Adopt a culture of data analysis, rapid prototyping and experimentation to prove out technical concepts and product hypotheses
Build customer experiences thoughtfully, partnering with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to mitigate risks through design and governance.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
At least 5 years of experience in Agile product management
At least 5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
At least 5 years of experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
At least 3 years of experience building products for data scientists, machine learning engineers or model risk officers
At least 2 years of experience in AI product management
At least 3 years of experience working at a startup or in a startup environment
At least 1 year of Gen AI experience
At least 1 year of Fintech experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
