As a member of the Enterprise Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) team, specifically the Governance, Risk and Compliance team (GRC), you will be focused on enabling the enterprise DIB strategy in a well managed and risk ready manner. You will drive a variety of programs to enable frameworks that help us operate with standardized structures and repeatable mechanisms.
The successful person will be able to leverage deep subject matter expertise in program management, risk assessment and mitigation frameworks, effective stakeholder management and relationship building to maximize efficiency, drive momentum, and achieve results. Sensitivity and good judgment with diverse teams is essential. You should demonstrate proficiency in program/project management, strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills across all stakeholders. You should have a focus on results that allows you to effectively multitask while keeping pace in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop clear governance structures and decision-making frameworks to drive enterprise DIB Strategy and GRC OKR’s
Lead complex programs in an integrated approach and support decision making
Partner with stakeholders to manage strategic activities and practices across cross functional teams
Work closely with Risk, Legal and Compliance partners to ensure well managed practices
Identify and evaluate the risks that could impact the team’s ability to achieve its goals, including operational, regulatory, human capital, and reputational risks.
Develop and implement controls to mitigate risks and reduce vulnerabilities.
Advise on best practices, providing insights on complex issues, and offering recommendations that are grounded in deep expertise.

Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to leverage logical insights through data analytics (assessment, analysis and reporting)

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 5 years of Diversity & Inclusion, Human Resource, Corporate Social Responsibility or HR Risk and Compliance experience or a combination
At least 5 years of experience in project management or risk management or a combination
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 6 years of experience in diversity, inclusion, equity & belonging
At least 5 years of strong problem solving or at least 5 years of influencing skills or a combination of both
At least 3 years experience in change management
At least 3 years experience in People Leadership
Strong attention to detail and results oriented, ability to meet objectives and handle multiple deadlines and priorities

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, DIBCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
