Associate, Change Risk Management - Strategic Division-Level Initiatives
As an Associate in Capital One’s Enterprise Services (ES) Risk organization,you will be a pivotal part of the Change Risk Governance & Assessments team focused on being well-managed and well-governed. In your role, you will be assisting in the governance and oversight of the Enterprise Services (ES) Enterwise-Wide Initiatives (EWI) and Division Level Initiatives (DLI) program. Our ES EWI/DLI program supports the broader Capital One governance process designed to provide adherence around large scale, strategic initiatives within each Line of Business (LOB).
Within this role, you will be tasked with the primary responsibility of maintaining the governance routines of the ES EWI/DLI program. The Associate in this role will be responsible for the monthly and quarterly governance routines for the ES LOB’s EWIs/DLIs, partnering with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies and standards. Additionally, this individual will be accountable for managing communications, training, and education of our program’s governance and process enhancements.

Responsibilities:
Drive and coordinate work related to ES’s EWI/DLI program execution and enhancement efforts, working with the first line of defense ES teams, Lines of Businesses, and second-line of defense risk management teams, to ensure effective collaboration and adherence to enterprise program standard requirements
Oversight of the day to day responsibilities associated with executing the DLI Governance process including intake, prioritization, due diligence and approval
Engaging with Corporate Finance for the oversight of EWIs, including reporting to senior level management
Governance of the process maintaining the EWI/DLI pipeline and inventory to ensure that overall process is in adherence with requirements
Help to enhance change governance and assessment processes across Capital One by providing thought leadership, oversight, and coordination with other risk management activities across the company.
Relationship management with stakeholders to drive enhancements and process efficiencies
Relationship management with initiative teams to include, guidance and training where applicable
Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements; support reporting on risk topics to Management.
Communication of key updates and status changes to leadership
Support interactions with Internal Audit and Regulatory agencies related to our work, as applicable.
Participate in and execute other special projects for the team on a periodic basis.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 1 year of experience in risk management, compliance or standards governance, or a combination
At least 1 year of experience in supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients
At least 1 year of experience in project or process management, or a combination
At least 1 year of experience working with Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in risk management, compliance or standards governance
2+ years experience in process, controls, process quality or audit management
2+ years experience in supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $92,800 - $105,900 for Associate, Cyber Risk & AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
