  • Perform thorough reviews of data management controls, testing results, and governance practices, ensuring that risks are appropriately assessed and managed across the enterprise.

  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments, leveraging analytical skills to identify potential data risks, trends, and gaps that require attention, and collaborate with SMEs to shape actionable remediation plans.

  • Engage in formal and informal challenge mechanisms to ensure first-line stakeholders meet data risk management requirements, adopting best practices where necessary.

  • Collaborate with partners across the business to explain data risk management requirements and enhance compliance through timely adoption, influence, and collaboration.

  • Regularly provide updates to senior leadership on data risk findings, including formal presentations on key risks, trends, and control effectiveness.

  • Stay informed and current on evolving industry trends, regulatory expectations, and best practices in data risk management.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, problem solving and influencing skills across various levels of the organization
