Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership and management of a retail bank operations organization that enables excellent customer experiences
Attract, recruit and retain top, diverse talent driven towards continuous improvement and operational excellence
Lead and manage a team of new and experienced operations leaders and associates across multiple shifts and multiple sites
Ensuring file and transaction monitoring activities and responses are occurring in a timely manner
Leading the incident management activities related to any payment event across the enterprise payments run rails
Build out the anomaly detection and prevention operations capabilities in close partnership with the EP S&A team
Influence policies and procedures to best meet the needs of our customers and associates
Partner with Analysts, Product Managers, Technology, and Risk leaders to develop and implement processes that achieve improved customer experiences
Ensure key operational metrics and performance targets are met
Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met
Proven ability to lead, inspire and empower large operations teams that are geographically dispersed
Location This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually from Richmond, VA, McLean, VA or Wilmington, DE
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Military Experience
At least 4 years of experience in banking or financial industry
At least 5 years of people leadership experience
At least 2 years of process or project management experience
At least 4 years of operations experience in production
At least 3 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
At least 2 years of payments experience
At least 5 years of process or project management experience
At least 3 years of experience in risk management or overseeing regulatory requirements
At least 7 years of people leadership experience
At least 7 years of experience in the banking or financial industry
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $184,800 - $210,900 for Director, Process ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
